The lion’s share of the fruit came from the cooler southern half of the region, including our Chapman Brook Vineyard. Various canopy management methods are used, with the objective being to maximise fruit fl avour development. The typical soils of these vineyards are geologically ancient, free draining sandy loams with a high percentage of lateritic gravel.
The grapes for the Goundry Sauvignon Blanc were sourced from premium vineyards in both the Pemberton and Mount Barker regions. The fruit was gently pressed using an air-bag press and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Gentle processing and cool fermentation ensured that all the bold and vibrant fruit flavours were retained.
Very pale straw with youthful green tinges, this wine displays all the hallmarks of Sauvignon Blanc from the south west of Western Australia. Intense aromas of lemon zest and pineapple.

Light to medium bodied with gooseberry, grassy and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. The finish is long and elegant with crisp acidity and good length
Fruit for Rosemount Diamond Label Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from selected vineyards in South Eastern Australia. The 2009 vintage was characterised by excellent rains in December, elevated temperatures in February prior to verasion, followed by ideal cool to mild temperatures leading to an ideal harvest in March.
Bright straw with green hints. The nose has a vibrant, varietal lift, showing cut grass and green pea aromas, with a hint of riper fruits developing as Palate Initially fresh and crisp, the palate fills out with layers of grassy flavours, intermingled with ripe passionfruit and tropical fruit notes. This wine shows the distinctive Rosemount fruit-full and supple palate, with a nice line of acid providing a clean, long finish.
Various Bridgewater Mill Sauvignon Blanc parcels were fermented with a number of selected yeast strains including some wild yeast, with in tank lees stirring upon completion.

This Eden Valley Sauvignon blanc displays complex aromas of crushed wild herbs and spices with just a splash of blossoms, passionfruit and grass. The palate shows a real depth of flavour, texture and complexity due to the barrel ferment influence. The wine retains that fresh, clean acidity and minerality.

Sourced predominantly from hillside vineyards in the cool Upper Yarra, the fruit was gently pressed and unlike previous years, almost forty percent was barrel fermented in older French oak barriques and puncheons. A small quantity of Semillon from the Lower Yarra was used to add complexity and texture to the wine.
The resultant wine is a blend of small batches that were either fermented in stainless steel using cultured yeast strains or fermented wild in barrel. All parcels were held on fine lees for six months prior to blending and bottling.
