The Pemberton region has established a reputation for being one of the most exciting emerging wine regions. The region is home to many picturesque vineyards which adjoin karri forests. It combines southern latitude with high altitude and has a relatively cool climate.
Gentle fruit processing and cool fermentation ensured that the vibrant tropical fruit flavours and intense herbaceous notes were captured. A short period of lees contact has given the wine further texture and mouthfeel. Careful blending with minimal handling and fining have ensured that the vibrancy of the fruit and depth of flavour carry through into the finished wine.
Brilliant and vibrant white with a youthful green tinge, the nose is intensely aromatic with fresh tropical fruits of honeydew, pineapple and lemon citrus complemented by herbaceous lantana and peapod.
On the palate, juicy lemon and lime citrus notes are enhanced by tropical fruit flavours and passionfruit. Intensely flavoursome, the wine has a fine natural acidity. Enjoy while young and fresh or carefully cellar for 1-2 years to gain complexity.
