The most common form of blending red wine in Australia is by using Cabernet, Shiraz and Merlot. Each variety of grape creating different depth of flavour and texture to the final product.

Fruit parcels were gently fermented for 6 to 8 days, with light aerative pumpovers. After gently pressing off skins, all individual wines were racked and select parcels transferred to spend time on new and seasoned Hungarian, French and American oak to complete malolactic fermentation. After 8 months maturation, each parcel was tasted, proportionally blended to produce a soft, finely textured wine with long dark fruit flavours and a supple fine texure typically found in wines from the Limestone Coast.
Brilliant crimson colour. Abundant ripe berry, dark plum, and sweet blackcurrant fruit aromas are underscored with toasty cedar and spice characters derived from the oak. The evenly structured palate is focused and long, the wines aromas carring onto the generous silky palate. An elegant generously flavoured medium bodied wine showing the rich regional Limestone Coast Cabernet fruit flavours, juicey acidity and a long finely textured finish.
