Vineyard Region: Eden Valley, South Australia

Vintage Conditions: The growing season was quite cool, with average daily temperatures from December to March a couple of degrees below average. Consistent top up rains meant that no irrigation was required for the entire growing season. This cool season allowed flavour development to match sugar ripeness whilst retaining higher than average acidity, producing intense flavour at low Baume, ideal for this Kabinett style wine. The grapes were harvested in the last week of March.

Colour: Very pale colour with green tints.

Nose: Juicy red berry fruits, with lemon sherbet and green apple aromas.

Palate: An upfront sweetness followed by lively lemon sherbet and granny smith apple freshness. All underpinned by "zippy" acidity that finishes crisp and clean.
