St Hallett Poacher’s Blend embraces the spectrum of aromatics and fresh, tropical fruit flavours typical of Semillon and early picked Sauvignon Blanc in the Barossa as well as a hint of citrus. Grape Varieties: Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc with a tiny proportion of Riesling.
Pale straw yellow with a subtle green hue. The nose is brimming full of tropical fruit aromas of passionfruit, melon, pineapple with underlying lime and grassy aromas, as well as hints of lime citrus. Full flavoured and generous, the palate exhibits an array of fruit flavours that persist over the whole length of the palate, finishing with a twist of lime. The slightly phenolic backbone provides structure and mouth feel, which is balanced with zingy crisp acidity.
