Shiraz showing it's spicy flavours and the Cabernet Sauvignon it's full bodied berry flavours. Shiraz is a equal blending component for Cabernet Sauvignon. In modern times, this blend originated in Australia.

The fruit was destemmed and transferred to stainless steel for fermenting. The Shiraz was first cold-soaked for a couple of days and then fermented at a constant 25°C, using a yeast strain that particularly lifts the purple berry aromas and flavours. The Cabernet parcel was fermented at a constant 22°C. The wine was then pressed and transferred for secondary, malolactic fermentation.
WINE COLOUR: Deep red with vibrant purple hues.
WINE BOUQUET: The wine has lifted fruit aromas of ripe plum, cassis and a touch of licorice. There is also subtle chocolate and spice from the oak maturation.
WINE PALATE: A balanced medium bodied wine with a lively palate of juicy red berries, plum, cassis, chocolate and spice. The wine has a soft, supple feel with silky smooth tannins from oak maturation.
